I thought it was really great there. We sat outside at over 30 degrees, there was always a breeze blowing through the streets so that you could sit there. The beer garden is on the Kornmarkt right by the fountain, so you can sit in a very rolling atmosphere. For dinner, we were looking forward to schnitzel despite the heat and were not disappointed. The hunter schnitzel with fried potatoes was really great. Since it was quite full, the conditions were very busy, but they were quick and super friendly. The menu isn't too big, but it should have something for everyone. We will definitely go again.

The food in the Landsknecht is really delicious, more like sufficient and also reasonably priced! When I'm out and about in Wetzlar, the Landsknecht is almost always my first choice!

We were eating in this place tonight. We were totally excited. The staff was very nice and friendly. The food was delicious and above all freshly prepared. We can only recommend this place. René and Margit with Nicole and Steffen from the Palatinate.

Very nicely located restaurant in Wetzlar's old town. Rich menu with very tasty dishes. A tunnel vault for about 30 guests is available except the spatially well-divided taproom. Audience is well mixed. Since the restaurant is very well visited early arrival is announced. All thumbs up

Somewhat hidden in the old town is the Landsknecht. A small menu with delicious and absolutely fresh dishes. Each schnitzel is freshly tapped and breaded. The food takes a little longer, but it is fresh and tasty. Thumbs up. The portions are sufficient and the value for money top. The service is courteous and attentive, the staff very friendly. There are always creative ideas, for example a black beer punch (picture). Delicious. Incidentally, in the summer there is still a great beer garden in the middle of the old town.

Home cooking priority, very good food, the food is freshly prepared. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. In the warm months you can sit outside wonderfully.

The food was sometimes very tasty, sometimes strange. Fried potatoes only greasy and with paprika (??) But the schnitzel with chanterelles is delicious! The tip was responded to well, but other criticisms were ignored.

Top service and the menu is impressive too! Good home-style food and large portions for a reasonable price. Gladly again!
